Our mini wall clock movements are powered by one AA battery (not included) and the case sizes are: (in millimeters) 69 height x 56 width x 16 depth. They are currently available in two of our most popular spindle lengths, 13mm and 15mm. The spindle is also known as the shaft or the post of the mechanism. When using the standard supplied washers the 13mm spindle size is suitable for a clock face of up to 2mm in thicknes and the 15mm spindle size is suitable for a clock face of up to 4mm in thickness. You will need to ensure that your clock face has a centre hole of between 8mm and 9mm in diameter. We can also supply blank clock face dials in MDF or Acrylic, please get in touch for more info.
You have the choice to purchase our movements without hands, this is convenient if you are manufacturing or crafting your own hands or sourcing them from elsewhere.

Our plastic hex nut tightening tool provides just the right amount of leverage to turn the hex nut on your clock movement without overtightening and damaging the mechanism which is easily done when using a spanner. We have also learned from experience that a metal spanner will occasionally slip and scratch the surface of the clock face. This simple solution is a must-have if you're serious about clock-making!
Our compact mini quartz movement is suitable as a replacement for most standard size wall clocks found in the home, they are ideal for use in a one-off clock repair or for a hand-crafted clock to give as a personal gift to a friend or loved one.
